Since updating my Zoom recording settings based on the recommendations from UNC around privacy, etc. (namely the one about only authenticated users being able to access the recording), I’ve run into some issues with students being able to view cloud recordings of lectures. In getting more details from them, it seems like this is an issue with the UNC sub-accounts. For example, three students in the School of Medicine sub-account and another in the School of Public Health sub-account have all had issues with access. I was previously in the SoM sub-account and was able to talk to IT and have my account moved into the main UNC one so that I could utilize all of the features, so is this what all of these students will need to do as well? Or is there a way to ensure that even UNC sub-account users can get to the recordings while maintaining the security of the videos?
